Mevagissey is a working fishing village on the south Cornish coast. It is located approximately 5 miles south of St Austell.
In the narrow streets off the harbour, craft workshops sit side-by-side with shops and cafes. In addition, the visitor has a choice of many excellent restaurants and friendly pubs.
Mevagissey is an ideal base for touring, being within easy reach of Falmouth, Fowey, Looe, Newquay, Polperro and Truro. It is also close to the Lost Gardens of Heligan (3 miles), the historic port of Charlestown (5 miles) and the Eden Project (8 miles).
