Nare Court - Access Statement
Nare Court is situated at the top of Polkirt Hill. Polkirt Hill is the steep road leading from the centre of Mevagissey in the direction of Portmellon.
Nare Court was built to take full advantage of the sea views from the cliff tops and although access to the building is level with the car park, once inside the building Flat Number 1 is accessed down three flights of stairs (about 24 steps in all).
Once inside the flat the kitchen, living room, twin bedded bedroom with en-suite facilities and the family bathroom are all on one level. There is a step down from the living room to the balcony via patio windows in the living room. A second bedroom with double bed is accessed by a short flight of stairs. The second bedroom is situated at the opposite end of the flat from the family bathroom.
The location of Nare Court, its internal layout and the layout of the flat itself render it unsuitable for persons with mobility problems. In addition to the features of location and layout previously mentioned, the lack of outside play space makes the property unsuitable for children below the age of 10 years.
